Ultraviolet radiation is a kind of non illumination radiation source. The wavelength range of ultraviolet radiation is 10 nm to 400 nm. Since only ultraviolet radiation with wavelength greater than 200 nm can propagate in the air, the ultraviolet radiation effect and its application commonly discussed only involve the ultraviolet radiation in the range of 200 nm to 400 nm.
For the convenience of research and application, scientists divide the ultraviolet radiation into A-band (400-315 nm), b-band (315-280 nm) and C-band (280-200 nm), and call them UVA, UVB and UVC respectively.
Like other things, ultraviolet radiation can bring both advantages and disadvantages to human beings. Through the research of scientists, it has been found that the interaction between ultraviolet radiation and matter can produce a variety of effects, which are used by people.
